A graveside service for Patsy Jean (Satterwhite) Leshe, 86, of Silver Elm Estates in Edmond, Okla., will be held at Pleasant Grove Cemetery, Wood County on Saturday, June 26, 2021, at 2:00 p.m.
Mrs. Leshe died on May 23, 2021, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on May 9, 1935, in Longview, to Hulet Clifton Satterwhite and Alta Marie (Whinery) Satterwhite.
She attended Pleasant Grove School through the eighth grade and graduated from Winnsboro High School in 1953. Following her graduation, she married Wayne Brooks Leshe on June 26, 1953. They were blessed with four children.
Mrs. Leshe was active in the Woosley Baptist Church in Point for many years. She was active in the Point Ladies Civic Club and many other organizations prior to moving to Edmond, Okla., in 2018. She was also a member of the Coffee Club, Sunday Morning Church Services and Domino Players Group at Silver Elm Estates, Edmond, Okla.
Mrs. Leshe always maintained a great attitude and a positive outlook on life. She was known for her kindness and generosity which will live on through the lives of her family and those who knew her.
Mrs. Leshe is survived by her husband; sister, Dovie Kaupke and husband Fred of Enid, Okla.; brother, John Satterwhite and wife Nan of Point; children, Tanya and Jeff Cotton of Apopka, Fla., Tacia Bethel of O’Fallon, Ill., Tammy and John Curtis of Edmond, Okla., and Tracy Silva of Spring Grove, Ill.; eight grandchildren, Courtney, Craig, Christopher, Lauren, Ashleigh, Tyler, Austin and Logan; four great-grandchildren, Haley, Lucas, Scotland and Scarlett; many nieces and nephews; other relatives; and many friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
