A private family service for William Clarence Davis, 78, of Emory, will be held at a later date.
Mr. Davis died on December 12, 2020, in Tyler. He was born on October 24, 1942, in Dallas to Clarence and Estelle Steill Davis. He married Linda Diane Davis on May 6, 1966, in Emory. He was a retired firefighter in Greenville. He loved to hunt deer and fish. He was a family man who was truly loved.
Mr. Davis is survived by sons, Randy Davis of Flint and Chad Davis of Emory; brother-in-law, Richard McLemore of Fall City, Wash.; and sister, Elaine McAree of Emory.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife; and four brothers.
Arrangements were under the direction of Wilson-Orwosky Funeral Home.
