Ronnie Ray McEnturff

1962 – 2023

Funeral services for Ronnie Ray McEnturff, 61, of Emory, will be held on Saturday, July 22, at 11:00 a.m., at Lake Fork Baptist Church. Graveside services were held on July 16 at Smyrna Cemetery.

Mr. McEnturff died on July 9, 2023, in a tragic accident with his best friend, Alan Pound. He was born on January 17, 1962, at Saint Paul Hospital, in Dallas, to Virgil and Jean McEnturff.

He attended Rains High School and graduated with the class of 1980. He graduated from Eastfield Community College Auto Body Tech program in Mesquite. He started his first business, Emory Auto Supply, with his mother. He went on to start a very successful business, A & R Collision Center, with Alan, beginning in his dad’s shop. He was able to fund his long-time hobby of restoring cars through the collision business. He had a serious passion for hot rods and classic cars. He toured the country to attend car shows and even started one of his own, Classics ’Round the Square, with his best friends.

He was selfless and caring about people and he would do anything to help someone out, never expecting anything in return. He made everyone smile with his silly sense of humor and dad jokes.

Mr. McEnturff is survived by his mother;daughter, Melissa; stepdaughter, Jessica; stepson, Nathan; sister, Tammy; nieces, Brandy, Nicole and Tamara, great-niece, Sarah; great-nephews, Tyler, Austyn, Drake and Layne; many cousins; and countless friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Virgil; and his grandparents, Lee and Hook Ivie.

A visitation will be held one hour prior to the funeral service at 10:00 a.m. at Lake Fork Baptist Church.
