A celebration of life service will be held for Jimmy Doyle Wolfe, 65, of Alba, on Saturday, August 26, at 2:00 p.m., at Bright Star Baptist Church.
Mr. Wolfe died on July 24, 2023, at home surrounded by family and friends. He was born on February 13, 1958, to Hugh Don Wolfe and Patsy Whitworth.
Mr. Wolfe enjoyed working outdoors with cattle and horses or cleaning and mending fence rows. He worked in the oil field for many years and also did construction work.
He is survived by his wife, Kimberly Kay Wolfe; his mother, Patsy Whitworth; daughters, Kimberly Ann Wolfe, Amanda Fowlkes and husband Daniel, Morgan Bulow, Ashley Bulow and James; son, Jimmy Wolfe and wife Christine; sisters, Judy Prather and husband Roy, Rita Rist and husband David, and Rhonda Wilson; and numerous grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Hugh Don Wolfe; stepfather, Hollis Whitworth; and his grandparents.
