Court sets proposed tax rate, extends declaration

Setting the proposed tax rate, an agreement with the Andrews Center for mental health services for inmates, tax abatement for a local company’s new offices and extending the local emergency declaration were items considered by the Rains County Commissioners Court at the regular meeting on Tuesday, July 23.
