Commissioners court sets proposed budget, updated on tax abatements

The Rains County Commissioners Court adjusted and adopted a proposed budget for 2024/2025, considered tax abatements for two projects and considered updates to the contract with the local driver license office of the Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) in meetings last week.
