A funeral service for Alan Brad Joiner, 69, was held on February 13, at Believer’s Baptist Church in Emory. Interment followed in Sand Flat Cemetery in Grand Saline.
Mr. Joiner died on February 9, 2024. He was born on August 22, 1954, in Lubbock, to Alvin Dale Joiner and Veda Jeanelle Tanner Joiner. He
He is survived by his wife, Sonja Joiner; sons, Ryan and Devin Joiner, Tyler and Kristin Joiner, Chad and Macie Joiner; stepchildren, Stephen and Ashliegh Taylor, Andrew and Emily Taylor, Kaley and Seth Bryan; grandchildren, Adalyn, Jace, Josie, Abygail, Levi, Adalyn, Lily and Liam; brother, Jeff and Jeanne Joiner; mother-in-law, Janice Vaillencourt; sister-in-law, Nancy Joiner, Suzanne and Dan Knight, Sarita Stuart; brother-in-law, James and Susan Vaillencourt .
He was preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Greg Joiner.
