Shawn Derrick “Coot” Hayden, 42, of Lone Oak, died peacefully in his sleep on Friday morning, January 10, 2020, at his residence.
He was born on November 22, 1977, in Columbus, Ohio, to James and Eva Myers Hayden. He graduated from Wills Point High School. He worked as a commercial driver, delivering for different companies.
Mr. Hayden is survived by his mother of Lone Oak; sisters, Melissa Thomas and husband Russell of Rockwall and Holly Box and husband Randy of Lone Oak; grandmother, Nellie Myers of Kaufman; niece, Makayla Stamps of Royse City; nephews, Jarrod Stamps of Dallas, Cameron Box of Lone Oak, and Carter Box of Lone Oak; and numerous other loving family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Weldon Myers.
Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Wilson-Orwosky Funeral Home in Emory.
