Ronald R. Dager, 82, of Alba, died on Thursday, March 5, 2026. He was born on April 18, 1943, in Lynn, Massachusetts, to Bert and Mae Dager.
As part of a military family, he lived numerous places around the country during his early years. His exposure to the military inspired a desire to serve, and he later joined the U.S. Navy.
After his service, he spent many years in Texarkana and Emory. In recent years, he made his home in Alba, where he was grateful for the friendship and support of the neighbors who became his friends.
He is survived by his sister, Bonnie Lamb; son, Richard Dager; daughter, Debra Dager; granddaughters, Dani Ortiz and Roxi Dager; grandson, Jimmie Brenton; and great-grandchildren, Serenity Dager, Maximus Ortiz, and Nicklaus Ortiz.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Lynette.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
