Robert Wyman

1940 – 2025

Robert Wyman, 85, of Emory, died on May 8, 2025. He was born on January 14, 1940.

Mr. Wyman dedicated himself to teaching, coaching and administration. His influence extended far beyond the classroom, as he nurtured generations of students with kindness, love, and a servant’s heart. His colleagues and students admired his relentless work ethic and his ability to inspire those around him.

He enjoyed fishing at the Roaring River and was an ardent fisherman, mastering the art of tying flies. He had a voracious appetite for knowledge, particularly in spiritual. He was a devoted reader of God’s word, which served as a guiding light throughout his life as a pastor of fifty-two years. 

Among his many accomplishments, Robert considered his conversion to Christ as a pivotal moment that shaped his approach to life and his interactions with others. His faith was the cornerstone of his character, and he lived it out daily through acts of service and compassion.
