Philip A. Ryan, 82, died on September 16, 2025. He was born on August 2, 1943, to Gertrude Dahlgren and was later adopted into the Ryan family.
On May 31, 1963, he married Jeanne Julia Murray, in West Islip, New York. They built a life filled with love, laughter and devotion, raising three children, Philip A. Ryan, Jr., Kerry Riggs, and Kelly Ryan. His greatest joy was his family, and he worked diligently to ensure they were always cared for and supported.
He enjoyed days spent on the golf course, neighborhood gatherings with friends, and cheering faithfully as a lifelong Dallas Cowboys fan. His successful career as a Marketing Executive afforded him the opportunity to travel the world and build lasting relationships.
He is survived by his children, Philip A. Ryan and Kerry Riggs, siblings, Michael Ryan and Leslie; daughters-in-law, Kristine Tanzillo and Maria Ryan; and grandchildren, Jen (Matt) Fouth, Chris Riggs, Meagan (Damien) Johnson, Chris Riggs and “bonus” grandchildren, Jacob and Aly Bova and Katie Cotts; and great-grandchildren, Nathan Fouth and Emily Johnson.
Preceding him in death was his daughter, Kelly Ryan.
