A memorial service for Patricia Ann Linahan Daker, 82, will be held at a later date.
Mrs. Daker died on November 18, 2024, at her residence in Alba. She was born on July 11, 1942, in Shreveport, La., to Mack and Exa Maude Griffin Linahan. She lived in the Rains County area for 39 years and was a member of Harvest Acres Baptist Church in Mineola. She enjoyed traveling. Chile and Hawaii were among her favorites, along with any place that had a beautiful beach. She also loved spending time with her children and grandchildren.
Mrs. Daker is survived by her husband, Jim Daker of Alba; two daughters, Lisa Salzer and husband Gary of Washington, Ill., and Jada Banks and husband Mike of Combine; five grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; and numerous other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; five brothers; and one sister.
