Funeral services for Mary Pearl Land, 93, of Lone Oak, will be held on Thursday, August 8, at 2:00 p.m., at Lone Oak Baptist Church, with Bro. Robert Cook officiating.
Pallbearers will be Danny Bowman, Lester Hunt, Dewey Elmore, Rickey Fisher, John Suits, and Gary Dooley. Honorary pallbearers will be Charles Moore, William Powell, Ray Crabtree, Robert Vice and Herb Smith.
Mrs. Land died on August 3, 2024, in Greenville. She was born on August 18, 1930, in Point, to John Arthur Crabtree and Lilly Pearl Weatherford Crabtree. She lived in Lone Oak for a large part of her life and was a member of Lone Oak Baptist Church. She was the cafeteria manager at Lone Oak ISD Schools for 31 years. Over the years, she was active in the Lone Oak PTA, Vacation Bible School, Lone Oak Civic Club, and Lone Oak Little League.
She is survived by her son, Kenneth Ray Land and wife Marvonne; grandsons, Ken Land Jr. and wife Kristi, Andy Land, Matt Land and wife Morgan, and Wesley Land; step-granddaughter, Amy Bass and husband David; step-grandson, Lance Bass and wife Jennifer; great-grandsons, Karson Land and Layton Bass; great-granddaughters, Kirstie Land, Jolie Bass, Macie Sevier, Kensi Land and Laynee Bass; sisters-in-law, Shirley Crabtree and Grace Land; and many nieces, nephews, numerous other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Rubert Land; son, Bobby Land; brothers, Joe Ben Crabtree and Archie Ray Crabtree; sisters, Pauline Moore and Alene Suits.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, from 5:00-7:00 p.m., at Bartley Funeral Home, Lone Oak.
