Man guilty of murder in Rains County in 1999 dies Thursday

A man who pled guilty to a gruesome murder as a teen died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound while Jefferson County deputies attempted to serve an arrest warrant Thursday night, July 2, near Fannett, Texas.
