A visitation for Lord “John” Grisham, 83, of Alba, was held on August 15, 2023, at Wilson-Bartley Funeral Home, Alba. Interment was in Pilgrim Rest #2 Cemetery, Golden.
Mr. Grisham died on August 12, 2023, in Tyler. He was born on April 28, 1940, in Carlsbad, New Mexico, to J.V. and Lessie Marie Worthey Grisham. He lived most of his life in the Alba area. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and looking for arrowheads. He loved spending time with his family and was a big fan of John Wayne.
He is survived by his son, Danin Russell Grisham; daughters, Kimberly Zolan and husband John of Connecticut and Christina Tidwell of Crowley; four grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and numerous other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Jack “Sam” Grisham, Jr., Andy Grisham, and Howell J. Grisham; sister, Sheila Bunch; and sister-in-law, Emmie Grisham.
