A Celebration of Life for Linda Gail Rilea, 75, of Yantis, will be held at a later date. Mrs. Rilea died on August 7, 2024. She was born on February 18, 1949, in Alameda, California, to Louis and Eunice Collier. She moved to Texas in 1985. Linda was married to Clyde Rilea for 17 years.
Mrs. Rilea was an active member of Lake Fork Baptist Church, always ready to give a helping hand. Her passion in the church was the “Feed My Sheep” ministry, which provides food and other items for those in need. She loved to meet people and was always ready with a smile and a kind word, followed by a hug. She loved her Lord Jesus.
She is survived by her husband, Clyde; granddaughter, Heather Nee and husband Jason Nee; great-granddaughter, Malori Boyer; great-grandson, Korban Nee of Sulphur Springs; and niece, Kimberlee Caldarone and husband Al of Winters, California. Her extended family includes stepdaughter, Anna Rilea and husband Rob Jowett; granddaughter, Matilda Golby of Bogalusa, Louisiana; stepson, Mitchel Rilea and wife Jacquelyn Rilea; granddaughter, Olivia Rilea; and grandson, Elijah Rilea of Vista, California; stepsons from a previous marriage, James Holden and Joseph Holden, both of Louisiana; and numerous other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; younger sister, Suzie; and three sons, John Jr., Richard and Andrew.
