Funeral services for Larry Latham, 74, were held on July 19, at Wilson-Orwosky Funeral Home. Interment followed at Dunbar Cemetery.
Mr. Latham died on July 17, 2024, in Emory. He was born on June 3, 1950, to Preston and Elsie Latham (Bolton), in Dallas
He was an educator and a principal in his career. He had multiple degrees and always had an eagerness to learn more. He enjoyed books, tending to his garden and engaging in his community. His warm smile and infectious enthusiasm touched the lives of everyone who knew him. He approached life with an open mind and a willingness to embrace every opportunity as growth.
He is survived by his sister, Judy Salem; nieces, Melony Block and Chelsea Davies; nephews, Jeff Houson, John L. Salem and Jake Sale; and numerous great, great-great nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
