Judith Cobb, 79, died on March 15, 2026, quietly in her sleep at home in Mineola. She was born on December 26, 1946, to Robert Stephen Bonzi and Juanita Bell Marshall Bonzi.
She married Keith McClain Cobb (Mack) on March 10, 1966, in Florida and later moved to Texas. She enjoyed racing sports cars with her husband and friends, and driving road tours with family as part of the Dallas Model T Ford Club. She was a small aircraft pilot and member of the all-women’s pilot association, the 99s, founded by Amelia Earhart. In her mid-thirties she learned to ice skate with her daughter and competed for fun in ice dancing, leading into learning ballroom and country line dancing.
She worked for Honeywell, Forney Engineering, and Texas Instruments. Her longest career was with the American Society of Mechanical Engineers as an administrator of the Southern regional office where she coordinated conferences for bright young engineering students.
Mrs. Cobb is survived by daughter, Marianne Cobb Eubanks and husband Jeff Eubanks of Point; grandsons, Timothy “TJ” Eubanks and wife Baylee Brown Eubanks of Longview, and Scott Eubanks and fiancé Jordyn Lawhorn of Point; great-granddaughter, Abigale of Longview; brothers, Timothy Bonzi, of Largo, Florida, and Robert Bonzi, Jr. of Wisconsin.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Keith McClain Cobb; and her parents.
A life memorial celebration with her car club and an open house in Mineola will be held at a later date.
