Memorial services for John Paul Traylor, 75, of Emory, were held on May 15 at Emory Baptist Church. Brother Richard Piles and Robert Burns officiated.
Mr. Traylor was born on December 10, 1945, to Charley Austin Traylor and Mazelle Limbocker in Dallas. He died on April 24, 2021, at his home in Emory. He married Deborah Traylor on August 21, 1971, in Dallas. He was a member of Emory Baptist Church and was a Navy veteran.
Mr. Traylor is survived by his wife; son, Kenneth Matthew; grandson, Deason Welt; granddaughter, Kaylee Welt; great-grandson, Nash Welt; and brother, Dennis Traylor.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Kenneth Austin Traylor.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Emory Baptist Church Life Center, Elm Cemetery or Dougherty Cemetery.
Arrangements were under the direction of Wilson-Orwosky Funeral Home in Emory.
