James E. Davidson Jr., 50, of Emory, died on July 29, 2024. He was born on January 30, 1974, in Annapolis, Md. to Gloria Jean and James (Dave) David Sr.
He graduated from Broadneck High School in 1992 and went on to study at Anne Arundel Community College. After college, he worked in the family business of D & G Container in Baltimore, Md. He owned and managed a 7-11 in Arnold, Md. in 2004. He married Kristen L. Davidson. He came from a large Italian family, many of which still reside in Maryland.
In 2007, Jim moved to Mesquite. He later purchased a home in Rockwall. He met Melissa Tweedie and they married in 2018.
Mr. Davidson was a fun-loving and kindhearted man with unique and contagious humor. He had a boisterous personality that drew in everyone that met him.
He is survived by wife, Melissa L. Davidson; two children, Savannah J. and James E. III; stepdaughter, Maura R. Cantrell; sister-in-law, Lonna DeLay; brother-in-law, Chandler DeLay; mother-in-law, Dana Walker; and father-in-law, Sydney Walker.
