A private memorial service for Eddy Ray Turner, 69, will be held at a later date.
Mr. Turner died on January 21, 2026. He was born on January 8, 1957, to Douglas Ray and Marena Joyce Turner.
He attended Rains High School before joining the US army. He loved the outdoors and to fish and grill. His smile was contagious and he loved life and his family. He was a member of Chapel Hill Baptist Church.
Mr. Turner is survived by his wife, Trena of Massillon, Ohio; children, Mandy Donnelly and husband Terrance of Washington, Pennsylvania., Kimber Skaggs and husband Brad of Blain, Kentucky, Douglas Turner of Emory, Kari Hill and husband Steven of Emory, Stephanie Kennedy of Oklahoma, Michael Williams of Ft. Myers, Florida, and Justin Shaffer and wife Sandra of Massillon Ohio; sister, Kathy Ainsworth and husband Robert; and numerous grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Kaden Turner; brother, James Turner; sister, Charlotte Haren; and niece, Clisha Hendry.
