Council members hear complaints from builders and contractors

The Emory City Council held its regular monthly meeting on Tuesday evening, May 10, at Emory City Hall. Items brought before the council included rezoning a 13.425-acre parcel of land from agriculture to planned development, an ordinance creating the position of a city fire marshal, and an ordinance for granting permits for parades, marches and rallies.
