The Miller Grove Robotics Team competed at the Vex Robotics Competition (VRC) Texas Region 2 State Championship in Terrell held on Saturday, Feb. 22. Rains County roads suffered heavy damages during the recent rains. A total of 3.52 inches of rains was recorded Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, February 10-12. A bridge on County Road 3160 crossing Magee’s Creek was closed after most of its support was washed away during the rains. County Judge Wayne Wolfe said he and commissioners Mike Willis and Mike Godwin went out to the site and surveyed the damage.
