Services for Carrie LeeAnne Gowin, 35, were held on January 20, at Wilson-Orwosky Funeral Home Chapel. Interment followed in Dunbar Cemetery.
Ms. Gowin died on Monday, January 9, 2023, at Hunt Regional Medical Center. She was born on November 24, 1987, in Greenville, to Rhonda Gowin and David Randolph.
Ms. Gowin and her ex-partner, Shillem Bulow, had two daughters, Alexis and Alyssa. She and boyfriend, Neil Young, had two sons, Austin and Ashton, and one daughter, Autumn.
She loved life and her family. She enjoyed being outdoors and doing yard work and gardening. She loved being with her five children and taking care of them. She was a friend to all animals and frequently brought strays home to love.
Ms. Gowin is survived by her mother; her sons and daughters; partner, Neil Young; former partner, Shillem Bulow; brother, Andy Adcock and wife Jane; and niece, Jessie Karen; and a host of family and friends who loved her dearly.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Norma and W.D. Gowin; uncle, Russell Gowin; in-laws Denise and Carl Young; and ex-mother-in-law, Shannon Castorena.
Arrangements were under the direction of Wilson-Orwosky Funeral Home.
