Emory Volunteer Fire Department, Emory Police Department and Rains County Sheriff’s Department responded to a car vs. tractor-trailer accident at the intersection of Hwy. 19 and Robinson Rd. on Monday afternoon, January 5. One person was transported to Sulphur Springs with unknown injuries. The accident is still under investigation.
