William Ray Strebeck, 75, of Emory, died on October 11, 2019, at his residence. He was born on July 24, 1944 in Gober, to Joe and Fannie Gowin Strebeck.
He was a graduate of Rains High School. He married Donna Sue Roberts in Alba on July 19, 1963. He worked for Lone Star Steel, was a dairy farmer for a number of years, worked for Texas Instruments, and was also a hospital security guard.
He is survived by his wife of Emory; daughter, Pattie Sue Harford and husband Steve of Emory; son, Chuck Strebeck and wife Tina of Emory; sisters, Melba Wright of Alba; Patsy Whitworth and husband Hollis of Alba; brother, Bobby Strebeck and wife Sue of Arlington; grandchildren, Derek, Katelyn, Kara and Emily; great-grandchildren, Lindzi, Gavin, Teegan and Maeleigh; and numerous other loving friends and family.
He was preceded in death by parents; brothers, Rex Earl Strebeck and Joe Alvis Strebeck.
Arrangements were under the direction of Wilson-Orwosky Funeral Home.
