Services for Omega Walker Head, 105, of Lone Oak, were held October 13 at First Christian Church of Lone Oak. Bro. Danny Calk officiated.
Interment followed in Forest Park Cemetery, Greenville.
Mrs. Head died on October 9, 2019, at a Greenville hospital. She was born on December 18, 1913, in Lone Oak to Will and Naomi Wilson Walker. She spent all her life in Lone Oak where she was a homemaker, a member of the First Christian Church, Lone Oak Civic Club and Lone Oak Senior Citizens.
Mrs. Head is survived by her daughter, Junell DeJanes of Atlanta, Ga.; two grandsons, Michael DeJanes and wife Elizabeth and Robert DeJanes, all of Atlanta, Ga.; two great-grandchildren, John Michael DeJanes and Kristen Elizabeth DeJanes; and many friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and husband, Arley L. Head.
Arrangements were under the direction of Bartley Funeral Home.
