Services for Robert Perry Parrott, 67, of Alba, will be held on Saturday, February 17, at 10:00 a.m., at First Assembly of God Church, Quinlan, with Pastor Ben Terry officiating, under the direction of the church and family.
Mr. Parrott died on February 5, 2024, at his residence in Alba. He was born on December 2, 1956, in Fort Walton Beach, Fla., to Samuel Basil and Mattie Margaret Marchman Parrott. He lived in the Rains and Wood County area for the last 8 years. He was a member of the First Assembly of God Church in Quinlan, where he played the drums. He lived on the lake and enjoyed fishing, and loved and adored his grandchildren.
He is survived by his two sons, Cameron Parrott of Winnsboro and Logan Parrott of Roseville, Calif.; three daughters, Adriane Hausher of Tulsa, Okla., Maddisyn Baca of Royse City, and Mallory Byrd of Royse City; brother, Edgar Parrott and wife Emily of Irving; sister, Nina Dickerson and husband Charles of Emory; two grandsons, Bronson and Bane; three granddaughters, Ashlynn, Anissa, Colette, and one on the way, Blyss; and numerous other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and sister, Alta Lee Munoz.
