A celebration of life service for Richard VanWinkle, 57, of Emory, will be held on July 8, from 12:00-5:00 p.m., at 3873 RS CR 1605 Lone Oak, TX. 75453.
Mr. VanWinkle died on June 14, 2023. He was born on May 23, 1966, in Portland, Oregon. to Harry and Dorothy VanWinkle. He married Connie Vavra on November 11, 2011, in Prineville, Oregon. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, volunteer work at Good Samaritans, and loved spending time with his family. He was a School Bus Monitor at Rains County ISD.
Mr. VanWinkle is survived by his wife, Connie VanWinkle of Emory; daughters, Kelli VanWinkle and Michael Givens of Greenville, Kylee Watson and Rawlin Smith of Prineville, Oregon, and Jennifer Sage and Evan of Emory; mother, Dorothy VanWinkle; stepmother, Ardis Snyder; sisters, Bonnie Snyder, Julie Wickman and John, and Alice Rex; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Bill and Jennifer Campbell; grandchildren, Presley VanWinkle, Kira VanWinkle, Lux Givens, Madeline VanWinkle, Bella, Cooper and Sophia Watson, and Aspen and Zevan Sage; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his fathers, Barry Snyder and Harry VanWinkle.
