A celebration of life service for Patricia “Patti” Ann Neiman, 59, of Corsicana, was held on January 6 at Griffin Roughton Funeral Home Chapel. Bro. Floyd Petersen officiated.
Interment followed in Eureka Cemetery.
Mrs. Neiman died on January 1, 2021, after a brief hospital stay. She was born on September 2, 1961, in Dallas, to Barbara and Jesse Jackson.
Mrs. Neiman was a long-time resident of Corsicana. She had an in-home daycare for over 20 years. She enjoyed cooking, crafting, gardening, visiting garage sales, and was an amazing seamstress. She enjoyed spending time with her family and grandkids the most.
During her son’s high school years, she created the home where everybody wanted to be. She developed a surrogate mother relationship with many of the kids. She enjoyed keeping up with them, as many had families of their own and they still referred to her as Miss Patti.
She is survived by her fiancé, Randy Roper; children, Terry Moore Jr. and wife Rhonda of Ft. Smith, Ark., Chris Neiman of Corsicana, Heather Brunton of Barry, Jennifer Page and husband James of Blooming Grove, and Cory Roper and wife Bretleigh of Dallas; siblings, Cody Jackson and wife Mia and Angie Parmer and husband Heath, all of Emory, and Jackie Bevis of Farmersville; 17 grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her mother and father; step-mother, Carolyn Jackson; and sister, Connie Jasper.
Arrangements were under the direction of Griffin-Roughton Funeral Home.
