A memorial service for Linda Carol Taylor Phillips, 80, of Lone Oak, will be held on Saturday, November 18, 2023, at 2:00 p.m., at Wilson-Bartley Funeral Home, Alba.
Mrs. Phillips died on November 12, 2023, at her residence in Lone Oak. She was born on February 3, 1943, in Temple, to Paul E. Taylor and Minnie Louise Bankston Taylor Bagley. She lived in Alba and Irving before moving to Lone Oak. Her greatest joys in life were her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She was a lifelong animal lover, always had dogs and cats and occasionally other small critters. She has always enjoyed the outdoors, working in the garden, walking and exploring and just sitting enjoying the sun on her face.
Mrs. Phillips is survived by her son, David Phillips and wife Tracey of Lone Oak; daughter, Billie McCain of Alba; brothers, Jimmy Taylor and Bonnie Taylor both of Rogers; sisters, Ramona Phillips of Kaufman, Paula Moltke and husband David of Rowlett, and Preble Polk and husband Calvin of Rosebud; six grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; and numerous other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, John W. Phillips; son, John Paul Phillips; and son-in-law, Mark McCain.
