Graveside services for Lillian “Punk” Hukill, 89, of Lindale, were held on May 31 at Smyrna Cemetery in Emory. Bro. Jimmy Hampton officiated.
Mrs. Hukill died at her home in Lindale on May 28, 2020. She was born March 1, 1931, in Emory to Elmer and Vannie Leota (Smith) Decker. Mrs. Hukill lived in Lindale for the past 45 years. She enjoyed sewing, crocheting, reading and spending time with her dear family.
With a servant’s heart, she was a loving homemaker, helped several families at Hideaway Lake with cleaning their homes, and would gladly help anyone in need.
Mrs. Hukill is survived by her son, Clifford Hukill and wife Rebecca of Caddo Mills; daughter, Cindy Hobbs and husband Joe of Lindale; sisters; Margie Harvey of Emory and Ann Staggs of Balch Springs; grandchildren, Salena Streenz of Frisco, Beth Anna Winkle of Onalaska, and John Paul Hukill of Hainesville; great-grandchildren, Sydney, Savannah, Autumn, Makinlee, Braxton, Brentley and Mason; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other loving family members and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Ray Hukill; son, Larry Hukill; sisters, Christine McAree and Edith Doudney; brothers, Jessie and Scott Decker; and an adopted brother, ZD Brown.
Arrangements were under the direction of Caudle-Rutledge-Daugherty Funeral Home in Lindale.
