A Mass for Leonard J. Rusciani, 60, of Alba, will be held on Friday, September 18, at 4:00 p.m., at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church.
Mr. Rusciani died on September 11, 2026. He was born on October 6, 1965, to Leonard Rusciani Sr. and Martha Bishop. He married Rosalyn Anderson on September 11, 1987, in New Jersey, and they spent 39 years together.
He was a master well-driller. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus and sang with the St. John’s Choir. He also taught children’s choir and CCD at his home parish in New Jersey. An avid musician and cook, he sang and played the guitar, piano and trombone. He coached football and practiced karate. He loved being a PopPop and showing his grandchildren his farm, and they loved him fiercely.
Mr. Rusciani is survived by his wife; children, Nat Rusciani, Jenny Paredes and Dante, Lenny Rusciani III and Melissa, and Danny Rusciani; grandchildren, D.J. Paredes, Helo Paredes, Kairi Paredes, and Melody Paredes; siblings, Rose Rusciani, Linda Heath, and Lisa Tushla; nephews, Zach Tushla, Bill Heath and Stephen Heath Jr.; and numerous friends, family and others that loved him.
A visitation will be held on September 18, from 3:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m., at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church.
