Funeral services for James Randall Blackford, 68, of Alba, were held on January 28, at the First Baptist Church of Alba. Dr. Kelly Burton officiated under the direction of the church and family.
Mr. Blackford died on January 22, 2022, in Tyler. He was born February 19, 1953, on the Livermore Air Force base in Livermore, California. He was a fantastic chef and photographer for many years. He was a loving, caring father and an even better Pappy to his grandchildren.
Mr. Blackford is survived by his wife, Kay Blackford; brother, Russel; sister, Vickie; son, Anthony Grisham and wife, Dani, of Las Vegas, Nev.; daughter, Andi Bolden, and husband Christopher; granddaughters, Addysan and Caydan; and grandson, Jaxyn, of Springdale, Ark.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Ann; stepfather, Red; and sister, Kim.
