Mrs. Ragsdale died on January 23, 2024, in Tyler. She was born on January 6, 1942, in Winnsboro, to Ferrell Eugene and Ruby Ella Underwood Harrison.

She became the church pianist at Harmony Assembly of God when she was 12 years old. She graduated from Winnsboro High School in 1960 and married Arlon Ragsdale on February 8, 1963, in Winnsboro.
