A memorial service for Harvey Eugene Waldon, 76, of Point will be held Tuesday, August 4, at 2:00 p.m. at New Journey church of God in Edgewood. David Hamm will officiate.
Mr. Waldon died on July 5, 2020. He was born on September 10, 1943, in Emory to Ben and Myrtle Huff Waldon. He retired from General Dynamics after 43 years of service. He lived his life to the fullest with simple pleasures, spending time with friends and family. He always had a smile on his face and a song in his heart.
Mr. Waldon is survived by his wife, Marcy Waldon of Point; sons, Larry Armstrong of Princeton and Chris Armstrong of Holly Lake Ranch; daughter, Michelle Gillespie and husband David of West Tawakoni; three sisters; nine grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
