Funeral services for Gregg Potts, 62, of Emory, were held at Emory Baptist Church on April 26. Interment followed in Dougherty Cemetery.
Gregg “Pa Pa” Potts died on Friday, April 22, 2022, in Emory. He was born March 6, 1960, in Dallas, to Bill and Betty (Lair) Potts. He married Karla Woodward in Rains County on August 3, 1979. He was an electrician by trade but he loved cattle ranching and working on the dairy farm.
Mr. Potts is survived by his wife; daughter, Shauna Vickers and husband Tom; sons, Tommy Potts and wife Amy, and Chris Potts and wife Jennie; parents, Bill and Betty Potts; grandchildren, Reid, Rylan and Parker Vickers, Hudson, Hayson, Lawson, Wesson, Pearsyn, Jentry, Jolie and Judd Potts; brother, Brad Potts and wife Becky; sisters, Sheri Wright and husband Sammy, and Stephanie Kirkpatrick; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Arrangements were under the direction of Wilson-Orwosky Funeral Home.
