A family-led celebration of life for Frankie James Perkins, 56, will be held at a later date.
Mr. Perkins died on March 13, 2024, at his home. He was born on May 23, 1967, to James Perkins and Winnie Judd, in Farmersville.
He lived in Rains County for over 20 years. He was laid back and loved to get the day started and hit the ground running. He was a fun person who devoted his life to his children, being a “hands on dad.” He loved to make them smile and spent any time he could with them. He was known for the huge heart that he had for animals.
Mr. Perkins is survived by his wife, Julie McWhorter; children, Abby Perkins and Justin Perkins; sisters, Mary Jane Fienen and Rebecca Perkins.
Arrangements are under the direction of Wilson-Orwosky Funeral Home.
