A celebration of life for Doug Jones, 70, of Point, will be held on December 11, at 10:00 a.m., at Wilson Orwosky Funeral Home.
Mr. Jones died on December 5, 2023, in Point, surrounded by his loved ones. He was born on June 20, 1953, in Lansing Mich., to Paul John Jones and Edna Myers.
Mr. Jones owned his own company, buying and selling heavy equipment. He was an avid hunter and his walls were adorned with beautiful reminders of his outdoor adventures.
He is survived by his wife, Karen Jones; daughter, Janet (Ross) McNeil; grandsons, Colby (Lisa) and Chevy Jones; great-grandchildren, Paul and Clayton Jones; special cousin, Gary Alspaugh; sister, Frances Pemberton; brothers, Fred Huey, Lorenzo Huey, David Jones and Terry (Brenda) Jones; mother-in-law, Ruamy Beach; brothers-in-law, Ed (Cathy) Beach and Dale Beach; and sisters-in-law, Sandra Barr, Nancy (Greg) Edwards, Sue Beach, and Daisy Wiseman; numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his son, Paul Jones; father-in-law, Mark Beach; sister-in-law, Nancy Huey; and mother, Edna Myers.
