Funeral services for Donna Jacks, 65, of Alba, were held on August 2 at Wilson-Orwosky Funeral Home Chapel. Bro. Kelvin Prock officiated.
Interment followed at Hooker Ridge Cemetery. Pallbearers were Christian Jacks, Casey McAnally, Devin Jacks, George Judge, Benje Veal, Scott Blackman. Honorary Pallbearers were Joe Powell, Jim Jacks and James Hughlock.
Mrs. Jacks died on July 29, 2021, in Tyler. She was born on August 24, 1955, to Miles Langley and Dorothy Pittman Langley in Grand Saline. She married Geary Jacks on July 27, 1974, in Rains County. They cherished 47 years of marriage.
Mrs. Jacks is survived by her husband; daughter, Amy Veal and husband Jason; son, Daniel Jacks; grandchildren, Emerald Brackenridge, Bekka Peek, Brittany Veal, Christian Jacks, Mara Veal, Devin Jacks, Jannette Fay Jacks, Benje Veal; great-grandchildren, Elanor Condel and Avery Peek; sisters, Gail, Ethel and Molly; a host of nieces and nephews; cousins; and other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Bud Langley; and grandson, Lucas Jacks.
