Donna Harder, 83, died on December 23, 2024. She was born on June 2, 1941, to Joe and Ellen Shackelford, in Cortez, Colo. She married William Edward Harder, and they were married 67 years. They made Emory their home for the last 43 years.
Mrs. Harder was a devoted member of Emory United Methodist Church, and worked there as the secretary for 25 years. Her faith was an integral part of her identity and guided her throughout her life.
She had a passion for travel, often packing up her RV to embark on new adventures. Whether exploring scenic routes or discovering hidden gems, her travels were a testament to her adventurous spirit and love for life. Her legacy of love and compassion will continue to resonate within the hearts of her friends and community.
Mrs. Harder is survived by her husband; daughter, Tracy Woodall; son, Roger Harder and Bobbie; grandchildren, Derek Harder, Stephanie Reynolds, David Harder, Jessica Blackshear; great-grandchildren, Faith Blackshear, Zoey Blackshear, William Harder, Summer Harder, Charlotte Harder, Lilly Reynolds and Phenix Reynolds; and sister, Mary Ann Miller.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Joe and Ellen Shackelford; and brothers, Bobby Shackelford and Bill Shackelford.
