Dale Arthur Watson Sr., 74, died on May 25, 2023, at home surrounded by his family. He was born on June 15, 1948, in Columbus, Ohio, to Alvin Watson and Dorothy Hathaway. He served in the Navy after school. He was a veteran and always proud of it.
After leaving the Navy, he worked in the automotive paint and body industry, becoming a master in his craft. He had a passion for antique cars and spent many hours restoring them to their former glory.
He was an honest man with hard-working ethics who cared deeply for those around him. His dedication to family will forever live on through those he leaves behind. He was married to Nancy Watson for 54 years.
He is survived by daughters, Sonya Jones and Tonya Farris and husband John; brother, Daryl Watson and wife Susan; sister, Sharon Watson; and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and sons, Dale Arthur Watson Jr. and Michael Watson.
