Mr. McQueen died on May 23, 2026, in Tuttle, Oklahoma. He was born on September 4, 1946, in Alba, to William Joseph and Ruby Lucille Worthington McQueen.

Whether he was searching garage sales for hidden treasures, buying and selling old cars, or enjoying a good western on television, he found joy in the things he loved most. He especially enjoyed car racing, tractor pulls, and anything with plenty of speed and noise.

He had called Tuttle home for the past five years, but his roots and memories remained deeply tied to East Texas and the many family members and friends who shared in his life.

Mr. McQueen is survived by his two sons, Mark McQueen and wife Alonda of Tuttle, Oklahoma, and Chris Hays and wife Stacey of Alba; daughter, Desa McQueen of Stephenville; three sisters, Kathy Turner of Quitman, Kay Roberts of Terrell, and Dorothy Isernia and husband John of Murphy; eleven grandchildren; seventeen great-grandchildren; and numerous other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; seven brothers, Thomas, Homer, Bobby, Truman, Billy Joe, Russell, and Willie Earl; three sisters, Maggie, Sadie, and Dianna; two infant brothers; and three infant sisters.

The family will receive friends on Friday, at 9:00 a.m., one hour prior to the service, at the funeral home.
