Commissioners ratify disaster declaration, approve new deputy training

The Rains County Commissioners Court extended the disaster declaration for the solar eclipse issued by Judge Linda Wallace and approved the hiring and training of three new Rains County Sheriff’s deputies during the regular meeting on Thursday, March 14.
