City sells fire station, upgrades wastewater plant

The Point City Council sold the Point Volunteer Fire Department (VFD) building to the Rains County Emergency Service District (ESD), moved forward with repairs at the wastewater plant and considered options for a hiring board during the regular meeting on Thursday, January 11.
