Funeral services for Cecil Ray Robertson, 71, will be held on Friday, April 18, at 4:00 p.m., at Wilson – Orwosky Funeral Home in Emory. Interment will follow at Cumby Cemetery.
Mr. Robertson died on April 14, 2025, in Greenville. He was born on July 14, 1953, to Cecil Albert Robertson and Jorene Robertson (Wilde) in Amarillo.
Mr. Robertson was an Aircraft Mechanic at E-System for more than 32 years. His work skills showcased his exceptional skills and afforded him the opportunity to travel to various countries.
He served in the Army during the Vietnam War. His proudest accomplishment was his family. He was married for over 30 years to Emmalee Robertson (Rasco) until her death in 2011. He was a man of few words, but when he spoke, it was always with purpose. He enjoyed sports and could often be found listening to sports radio.
In his later years, his free time was spent with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren who lovingly called him, “Papa Cec.” He was always up for any adventure they could think of.
Mr. Robertson is survived by his children, Danielle Cartmill and husband Garrett, and Mika Robertson and wife Dyanna; grandchildren, Brandon, Savannah, Landon, Jenna, Payton, Easton, Kason, Morgan and Ava; great-grandchildren, Alana Josephine, and Eliyanna; siblings, Gary Robertson, Larry Robertson and Janet Gatlin; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his loving wife; and his parents.
A Visitation will be held at 3:00 p.m., at Wilson – Orwosky Funeral Home, one hour prior to the service.
