Funeral services for Cathy Adcock, 61, of Emory, were held on January 14, at Wilson-Orwosky Chapel in Emory. Interment followed in Dunbar Cemetery.
Mrs. Adcock died on January 10, 2023. She was born May 11, 1961, to Jackie and Sylvia Butler in Houston. She married Teddy Adcock on April 11, 1994, in Arkansas. She loved working with horses and being outdoors with her animals.
She is survived by her husband; son, Matt Brumitt and wife Bonne; granddaughter, Annaka Thompson; her father; brothers, Bubba Butler, Chad Butler and wife Anne, and Heath Butler and wife Melissa; sister, Sissy Crouch and husband Ron; sister-in-law, Judy Taylor; nephews, Charlie Butler and wife Amanda, Jonathan Butler, and Chauncey Taylor and wife Debra; nieces, Morgan Day, Makayla Butler, Megan Butler, Star Crouch and Cristin Gable and spouse Mayson; and numerous great-nieces, great-nephews, family and friends who loved her.
She was preceded in death by her mother; and mother-in-law, Doris Edwards.
Arrangements were under the direction of Wilson-Orwosky Funeral Home.
