Billy Wayne Nixon, 87, died on April 14, 2026. He was born on June 16, 1938.
Mr. Nixon devoted 32 years of his life to working with the street department for the City of Garland. His commitment to his job reflected his hard-working spirit and steady character.
He shared a beautiful and loving marriage with his wife, Sue, for 60 years. Their partnership was a cornerstone of his life, filled with memories that he carried close to his heart until the end.
He loved the outdoors and found peace and happiness in fishing.
He was proud of his family and loved his grandkids deeply, cherishing every moment spent with them.
Mr. Nixon is survived by his son, Jow Nixon and Cindy; grandchildren, Dory Treisch, Clara Treisch, Collin Treisch, Laren Nixon, Jacob Nixon and David Nixon.
He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Sue Nixon; and sons, Danny Nixon and David Ralph Nixon.
