Arlene Faye Rylant Young, 90 of Alba, Texas entered eternal rest on Tuesday, May 12, 2026 at home after an extended illness.
Arlene was born on April 10, 1936 in New London, Texas the eldest daughter of Donald Carroll and Stella Fletcher Rylant.
Arlene was a 1955 graduate of Emory High School and retired after many years of service from Southwestern Bell. Arlene married James Wright in 1955 and is survived by their children Samuel (Sherri) Wright of Emory and Larry (Misty) Wright of Alba. Arlene married David Young in 1974 and is survived by her stepson Danny Young. She is also survived by her sister Ann Monk of Grand Saline, 5 grandchildren: Lance, Jonathon, Kelsie, Brittany and Taylor; 11 great-grandchildren and host of nieces and nephews.
Arlene was preceded in death by her parents Donald Carroll and Herbert and Stella Rylant; daughters: Cindy Julian and Christi Young; grandchildren Dustin Wright and Amber Wright and great-grandson Jagger Miller.
Arrangements are under care of Eubank Funeral Home.
A private memorial will be held at the family’s convenience.
