Funeral services for Margaret Parrish, 79, of Emory, were held on Tuesday, August 17, at Emory Church of Christ in Emory. Pastor Robert “Bub” Waller and Chad Parrish officiated.
Interment followed at Turner Cemetery.
Mrs. Parrish died on August 13, 2021, at her home surrounded by family. She was born on October 30, 1941, to Charles Edgar Bennett and Bammie Edith Martin Bennett in Alba. She married Robert Parrish on January 23, 1959.
Mrs. Parrish is survived by her husband; son, Charles Nolan Parrish and wife Wanda; grandson, Chad Parrish and wife Leanne; granddaughters, Michelle Tate and husband Lance, Jenn Roberts and husband Dale, Kristen Harley and husband Tommy, Ashlynn Dipzinski and husband Matt; great-grandchildren, Dustin Roberts, Sara Roberts, Cameron Roberts, Mathew Dipzinski, Miller Dipzinski, Landon Harley, Trevor Harley, Case Parrish, Cole Parrish and Bennett Tate; and sister, Dora Bennett.
She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Deborah Kay Parrish Douthit; nine brothers; and five sisters.
